Casa Belém – Immersion Through Democracy
Casa Belém was an initiative that provided Evangelical influencers with the tools to create impactful digital content during the election period. Over two days, we brought together 21 content producers from across Brazil, representing various denominations and significant racial and gender diversity. Participants received a toolkit (with ring light, tripod, lapel microphone, P2/P3 output and Fe Pacheco’s course on Instagram Stories) and attended workshops with researchers to help them understand communication priorities, particularly with female Evangelical audiences. We also provided access to professional writers and filmmakers for on-site production.

As a group, participants collaborated on a collective calendar of political actions, including the #LivrePraVotar (#FreeToVote) campaign, which resisted “coerced voting,” and the #QueroMinhaFamíliaDeVolta (#IWantMyFamilyBack) campaign, which raised awareness about the violence experienced by church members who declared support for other candidates.
